Additional programs

Gladstone Public School is very fortunate to have the local pool almost on our doorstep. As a result of joint funding with Sporting Schools Grants we are able to offer a swimming program for 6 months of the year as well as two weeks of Intensive Swimming in Term 4. As a result of this initiative, Gladstone students have consistently achieved outstanding achievements in Swimming. Many of our students have represented our school at District, Regional and State levels and we have an excellent record of winning the Small School's Trophy in Swimming.

Robotics - In 2016 the school purchased several robotics kits. Students have demonstrated their adaptability and creativity incorporating robots into our technology program. Our students showcased their skills at the STEM Expo held at Melville High School in 2016. Gladstone also has accessible ipads, interactive whiteboards and computers in all classrooms that complement our programs.

Music - In 2017 we offered guitar lessons, drumming and singing as part of our ongoing programs. Students had various opportunities to perform and excelled in all areas. We are hoping to continue this program in 2017.
